Only six teams total played last night the Toronto Maple Leafs played the Edmonton Oilers, the Detroit Red Wings played the Phoenix Coyotes, and the Calgary Flames played the Anaheim Ducks. The Maple leafs and the Oilers faced off for the third time this year and for the third time this year Toronto came out with a win. The oilers scored six times topping the Maple Leafs three. Phoenix beat Detroit with help from Boyd Gordon, and Martin Hanzal twice. Johan Frazan was the only Red Wing to make a difference on the score board. Calgary held out until the shootout but was beat by the Ducks. The score was two, two going into overtime, and the shootout. With an eight round shootout the game finally ended with a goal from Anaheim's Niklas Hagman.
