Last night only three games were played in the National Hockey League. The Flyers played the Senators, the Detroit Red Wings played the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus played Anaheim. With about two minutes to go in the Philly Senators game it was tied four a piece, and looked like it was going into overtime. With to last minute goals by Ottawa the game ended with the Sens topping the Flyers four to six in regulation. The Detroit, Chicago was promised to be a good one, because both teams were at the top spot in the Central Division. After sixty minutes the game was tied at two, and went into overtime. With about two minutes left in overtime Pavel Datsyuk scored to end the game with the Wings beating the Hawks three to two. The Ducks blew out the Blue Jackets in a seven to four victory. Today the Columbus Blue Jackets fired their head coach Arniel and hired Todd Richards to take over. The Blue Jackets are currently seated in last place in the NHL.
